I don't agree with much of the rhetoric that has come out of the current US administration over the past few years and I try to focus this blog as much on UK politics as possible. However, I have to say that Condoleezza Rice is spot on about Al Quaeda’s use of mentally-handicapped women as bombers. Rice said that Al Quaeda had “no political programme here that is acceptable to a civilised society and that this is the most brutal and the most bankrupt of movements”.
Using handicapped women as suicide bombers? This brutal and bankrupt bunch of sick criminals has almost impossibly plummeted new levels of depravity.
